How AI judges welding compliance in real time

In-process AI compliance judging determines while the weld is being laid whether it conforms to the qualified process, rather than waiting for final inspection.

Final inspection lags, and spot checks miss defects — a bad weld is often found long after it leaves the line, and rework costs multiply. To cut rework, the judgment has to move forward into the process.

Current, voltage and gas flow are captured in real time; the AI first performs process recognition (identifying which process is running), then compares in real time against the qualified WPS, giving instant feedback via three-color alerts (normal / warning / abnormal).
